At the seventh Dancers Dancing for Toys event, toys valued at $1,500 were donated to benefit the Salvation Army’s toy drive for children on the peninsula.
Several dance groups, including Hapy’s Oasis Dance Troupe from Sequim, performed Dec. 11 at Peninsula College’s PUB.
Lydia Samperi, Hapy’s Oasis leader, coordinates the dance benefit annually and plans to do so again in 2010.
