Volunteer Hospice offers six classes

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County begins a free community education series from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim.
Registered nurse Susan Hynes presents "Introduction to Hospice" at the first program.
Upcoming speakers and programs include social worker Christine Jacobsen, "Attitudes About Death and Dying," March 11; grief support facilitator Cherie Copsey, "Grief," March 18; and social worker Beth Garifalos, "Families Dealing With Death and Dying," March 25.
Speakers at the April 1 session are attorney Ron Bell, 1-2 p.m., "Legal Issues," and Sequim Valley Chapel, 2-3 p.m., "Mortuary Services."
The series concludes April 8 with Margaret McHugh, Ph.D., "Stress Management."
