Coast Sanctuary council to meet Friday

NOAA’s Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary hosts a meeting of the Sanctuary Advisory Council from 9:50 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Port Angeles.
The agenda includes a briefing on the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center’s Natural Resources Program, a status update from Pacific Fishery Management Council actions requesting Essential Fish Habitat proposals, an update on the sanctuary’s implementation of OCNMS 2011 Management Plan, and a report on the sanctuary’s projected implementation 2014 priorities.
The meeting is open to the public, with public comment at 2:45 p.m.
The meeting is at the Clallam County Courthouse’s commissioners meeting room.
