Free tax workshop July 16

The Port Angeles office of the Washington State Department of Revenue hosts a free workshop for new and small business owners from 9 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, July 16, at the Clallam Transit System Conference Room, 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Participants learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Participants may ask questions specific to their businesses. All receive a workbook and reference guide to department rules and regulations.
