On Wednesday, March 7, local people who are experiencing housing crises will find one-stop help at Clallam County’s fifth annual Project Homeless Connect, at Port Angeles’ Vern Burton Center, Fourth and Peabody streets, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Some who arrive homeless will leave with housing secured.

The event will bring together more than 45 providers, including a variety of medical and legal professionals, hair stylists and cooks, who donate their time and skills, plus nonprofit and government social service agencies and community volunteers.

CCHO is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff, incorporated as a tax-deductible nonprofit in 2012, to organize the local annual service expo and other outreach activities.
