‘New in Town’ talks slated each month

If you are new to Sequim or considering relocating to Sequim, the “New in Town Conversation” is the place to be. The monthly event held from 4-6 p.m. each fourth Wednesday every other month at the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Visitors Center, 1192 E. Washington St., Sequim.
Dates include: April 23, June 25, Aug. 27 and Oct. 22, with no meeting set for December. It’s an opportunity to meet other people who are new to Sequim, for Sequim natives who will help tell the story of Sequim and its history, representatives of nonprofits with ideas for volunteering and more information about handling the stresses of relocation.
The “New in Town Conversation” is a co-sponsored program of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and Terrific-Transitions, a company focused on facilitating success with major life changes.
Light refreshments will be served and prepared materials will be available.
