OlyCap seeks facilitators

The Olympic Area Agency on Aging and Caregivers Home Health invite your participation in a free four-day training to become a facilitator of diabetes self-management workshops.

The training will be March 19-20 and March 26-27 at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St, Port Angeles. Here you will receive training to help facilitate a six-week workshop, one day a week, for 2.5 hours.

The minimum requirements are: 1) that you must attend all four days of training and 2) that you agree to help facilitate a minimum of two six-week workshops a year to maintain your certification. Facilitators work in a team of two, so consider attending with a friend.
