State Patrol seeks witnesses

The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in providing information on the events leading up to a motorcycle collision near Silverdale on April 15.

The collision happened at 2:17 a.m. Sunday, April 15, on the ramp from southbound State Route 3 to State Route 303 – Silverdale Exit 45. 

The collision claimed the life of 26-year-old Navy sailor Corey J. Sayers.

During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that there is another vehicle that was involved in or witness to the collision. This vehicle is described as a black Mercedes four-door with dark-tinted windows, estimated year model 2002-2010, clean and well-kept with possible after-market ground effects.
