The road to the playoffs just got a bit tougher.
Sequim dropped a pair of Olympic League contests last week, getting shut out by both Port Angeles and Klahowya.
On April 17, the host Roughriders got a pair of scores from phenom Anthony Brandon to go up 2-0 by halftime.
Tamrat Haskins added an insurance goal early in the second off a feed from Max Bukovnik for a 3-0 final.
Two days later, Sequim battled Klahowya to a scoreless deadlock at home until the 67-minute mark, when the Eagles’ Kasey Trask found the net to give Klahowya a 1-0 league win.
It’s the eighth time Sequim has been shut out this season.
The Wolves (1-3 in league, 3-7-2 overall) play at Port Townsend on April 24.
Sequim hosts North Kitsap on Thursday, April 26, before finishing the regular season on the road with matches at Olympic on May 1 and Kingston on May 3.
