Sequim High’s girls soccer squad is looking to break a dubious streak this week after Kingston shut out Sequim 3-0 on Oct. 7.
Bucs Rachel Tafte, Jennifer Reitan and Kelly Nash each had scores while teammate Brooke Tschida had two assists, running Sequim’s streak of being shut out to seven games.
Sequim was slated for a trio of contests this week – an Oct. 11 non-league contest at Foster (Tacoma) and Oct. 12 in Poulsbo against North Kitsap (results of these matches were unavailable at press time) and Oct. 14 at home against Port Townsend.
Sequim (0-3-0 in league, 1-8-0 overall) has a pair of road games, at Port Angeles on Oct. 19 and Oct. 21 in Silverdale against the Olympic Trojans, before closing out the regular season at home on Oct. 26 against Klahowya.
