Sequim student competes in Seahawk Championship Punt, Pass and Kick competition

Sequim’s Riley Cowan, 12, recently competed in the Seahawk Team Championship NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition, taking second place in the boys 12/13 age division. In order to qualify for the team championship, his sectional score needed to be one of the top four scores of all competitors from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Cowan and the other finalists were recognized on the field at CenturyLink during halftime of the Dec. 2 Seahawks-Saints Monday Night Football game.
