Lea Hopson was 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs, Alexas Besand had three hits and a trio of Wolves — Demiree Briones, Bailey Rhodefer and Maddy Zbaraschuk — each drove in three runs.
In baseball action,
Sequim’s squad didn’t fare as well, falling 4-1 to the Bucs. Kingston held
Sequim to just five hits. Sequim’s Tyler Forshaw and Kyler Johnston had two hits each.
Sequim’s boys soccer squad dropped a 3-0 home decision to Kingston on Monday night. The game was scoreless at halftime. “We gave up a couple on turnovers,” Sequim coach Dave Brasher said. “The field was a little sloppy. The kids played well.”
