Youth football registration

Sequim Wolf Pack Youth Football begins player registration from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 7, in the Sequim High School football stadium parking lot.

Youths between 6-12 years of age are eligible. Players also may register from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, July 13, and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the SHS football parking lot.

Registration fee is $150. Birth certificate and physical examination are required.

Dr. Asma A. Weber offers physical examinations for Sequim Wolf Pack players who need them from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.

Cost is $20 per player. New Sequim Wolf Pack uniforms and equipment are issued to registered players between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the same day. Practice begins Aug. 17.

Youngsters involved in any organized

Sequim youth sports program may come for a physical examination at the same time on Aug. 14. Cost will remain the same.

The Sequim Wolf Pack offers local youths the opportunity to learn and play adult-supervised tackle football.

The Wolf Pack will field three youth football teams in the North Olympic Youth Football League: a prep team for children 6-8 years old; a junior varsity team for 9- and 10-year-olds; and a varsity team for 11- and 12-year-olds.
