Sequim Bible hosts music and carnival
Sequim Bible Church, 847 N. Sequim Ave., hosts a special music night and carnival to benefit the Sequim Food Bank on Friday, July 23.
A bounce house, hot dog dinner and live music are offered for one nonperishable donation per person. Some of the things that are needed are:sugar, peanut butter, canned meats, soups, vegetables, nonperishable food items. Do not bring old or damaged cans.
The event begins at 5 p.m. with music from Sequim Bible Church and Sequim Vineyard Church’s worship bands and soloists beginning at 7 p.m.

Taize service
A Taize service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim. Originated in the village of Taizé in eastern France, a Taizé service includes candles, silence and short simple songs, which are repeated many times and become prayers. Call 683-4862.
First Baptist Church of Sequim
First Baptist Church of Sequim hosts a vacation Bible school from 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday, July 26-30, for ages 3 through sixth grade. Call 683-2114.
Eastern Hills Community Church
