Teens can learn videography at library

This winter the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., will offer a free three-part videography series for young adults between the ages of 12-18.

Workshops will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 20, Feb. 27 and March 6 in the library meeting room.

The workshops are led by professional photographer and videographer C. Woodrow French. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal cameras to each session; the library also will provide a limited number of devices for use during the workshops.

In the first workshop, participants will focus on pre-visualization, storyboarding and basic camera/equipment operation.

The second session will explore various filming techniques and the final session will be devoted to editing and uploading projects to YouTube.
