The Community Organic Gardens of Sequim, COGS, are reopening for another season.
Plots are available at the Fir Street Garden behind St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and June Robinson Memorial Park Garden on the corner of Sunnyside Avenue and Spruce Street.
Gardeners receive a plot or raised bed of their own, compost and water, and a full-day class on Saturday, April 11, on basic organic gardening from Pam Larsen.
The gardens are all organic and plots vary from 100 square feet to elevated beds that are about 2 feet tall by 32-40 square feet. Cost is $45 for a plot or raised bed.
