Milestone: Sequim operator increases certification

City of Sequim Waste Water Operator II Nathan Gaul has received the Waste Water Operator III Certification from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

There are five levels of wastewater certification in Washington.

Gaul is at the second highest level. Achieving the certification requires four years of domestic wastewater treatment plant operating experience with at least two years at a Class II or higher plant and 90 credits or credit equivalent units (CEU) relevant to waste water.
