Grief recovery seminar

Sequim Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane, offers a six-week peer support and grief education group for grief recovery led by Pastor Collette Pekar.

She has been a hospital chaplain and has training in this area.

The series is from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, April 16-May 14.

Sermon on Machado proverb slated

Joseph Bednarik is the speaker at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 19, at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, Port Angeles.

His topic will be “Anchor, Rudder, Oars, Fear: Machado’s Enigmatic Proverb.”

Bednarik is a frequent speaker at the OUUF and is assistant to the Minister in the Pulpit of Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Port Townsend.
