Flamingos flock to BirdFest

The flamingos are flocking again to raise awareness for the Sequim High School senior Class of 2015’s safe and sober graduation party on June 13.

Parents hope to raise $30,000 for about 260 graduating students’ festivities which include a deejay, games, contests, food, prizes and more. About 14 flamingo flocks are going each night for a suggested cost of $25 to have removed or $35 to be designated elsewhere.

The class also is selling $5 raffle tickets for a grand prize of a $750 Costco gift certificate with a drawing on May 11. A golf tournament also will be held on May 16 at Sunland Golf Course.

Tax-deductible donations are welcome by sending checks to “2015 Sequim Senior Graduation Party, PO Box 220 Carlsborg, WA 98224.”
