Donning special pink jerseys, local high school softball teams honored cancer survivors and collected donations for Operation Uplift before playing varsity and junior varsity games last week.

On April 29, Sequim and Port Angeles players and community members hosted their second “Pink Up” day in as many years. This year’s guest speaker, Magan Waldron, Mrs. Olympic Peninsula, detailed Operation Uplift, followed by a group photo and back to back fastpitch games.
