milestone: Soroptimists honor Sequim High student duo

On April 10, Soroptimist International of Sequim honored Kailee Price and Cecilee Wech from Sequim High School as Girl of the Month for March and April respectively.

Price, a senior at Sequim High School, has been a leader with the Associated Student Body. She said she is passionate about leadership and making her school a better place and serving others. Her sports are swimming and golf, and she hopes to make it to the state golf finals. Price said she loves spending time with her family, travel and photography. She plans to attend Gonzaga University in the fall.

Wech is Sequim High School’s executive ASB president. She said she loves working out and over the years has been active in both volleyball and golf. In addition to being a member of student government, Wech is an active member in the Be The Change Club and in the International Club. When not busy with school work or extracurricular activities, she works at Starbucks and plans to attend Arizona State University.
