Milestone: McMullin earns scholarship

Western Washington University student Jasmine Lightning McMullin, daughter of Jane McMullin of Sequim, recently received the Hazel Lowrey Anderson Scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The scholarship is for students who are third-year elementary education majors and are in the upper one-third of the class.

McMullin is a junior at Western majoring in elementary education/English literature.

She graduated from Sequim High School in 2013.
