Preparedness weekend planned

Via Vita has new trainer
Via Vita Chiropractic & Wellness, 128 W. Bell St., Sequim, recently gained a new fitness class and instructor, Alicia Demetropolis, is an ACE-certified personal trainer and orthopedic exercise specialist. She teaches an exercise class from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays for chronic cardiac patients which includes the use of hand weights, exercise bands and other low-impact body weight exercises to strengthen the heart and move the body.
The class is open to anyone who is recovering from major surgery or injury, or looking for a low-impact exercise program.

Mattress store changes names
Sleep Country USA, the Northwest’s largest mattress retailer, announced recently that it will join its West Coast sister brand under the Sleep Train banner in Washington, including the store in Sequim at 1041 W. Washington St. Continued growth, improved Internet presence, new opportunities for employees and the expansion of its award-winning Foster Kids program are cited as key factors in the decision to combine the brands under one Sleep Train name.
New signs are expected in the next few weeks.
