Hoops officials seeking help

The North Olympic Basketball Officials’ Association is recruiting men and women who would like to become junior high and high school basketball officials.

No experience is needed as training is provided. The association covers both boys’ and girls’ games across the northern Olympic Peninsula. Officials receive a game fee plus travel money.

The first meeting of the year is Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Vern Burton Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles. New officials meet at 3 p.m. and veteran officials meet at 5 p.m.
