Harker gains Rotary honor

Sequim High School senior Daniel Harker was honored as Student of the Month for November by Sequim Noon Rotary.

Harker will be graduating in June and is active in school as president of the Honor Society, vice president of both the Executive (all school) Associated Student Body and the International Club as well as a member of the Link Crew.

His appointment as an Eagle Scout is pending approval.

Harker has submitted his application to attend the Air Force Academy in hope of being commissioned an U.S. Air Force officer upon graduation. He is the son of Colleen and Scott Harker who are employees of the Sequim and Port Angeles School districts, respectively.

The presentation was made by club president-elect Ed Ebling last week.
