Girls Basketball: Sequim goes on a run in Silverdale

The Lady Wolves (1-0) started their season on the right note with a road win in Silverdale on Dec. 4.

Sequim stormed out to a 12-3 first quarter lead over Klahowya (0-3) and a 21-11 lead at halftime.

From there, the Wolves upped the intensity to score 18 unanswered points in the third quarter to go up 39-11. The Eagles though outscored the Wolves 9-6 to end the game.

Adrienne Haggerty led the Wolves with 13 followed by Jordan Miller’s 11 and Ella Christiansen’s 10.

Other Wolves scoring buckets were Carissa Leal with three and McKenzie Bentz, Erica Bower, Alisha Grasser and Allysen Montelius with two each.

Sequim hosted Bremerton (0-1) on Tuesday, Neah Bay on Wednesday, Dec. 9, and Port Townsend on Monday, Dec. 14.
