Trio hits Sequim

The Malcolm Clark Trio blues/rock band plays a “New Year’s Eve Bash” at Sequim’s Wind Rose Cellars (143 W. Washington St.) from 7-9 p.m.;  $5 cover.

Accordionists to gather

The next Sequim Accordion Social will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St. Players of all levels are encouraged to bring their accordion and play 1-3 pieces. The featured player will be the Bonnie Birch Trio from Seattle. A donation of $3 is requested.

Learn the cha cha!

The next series of ballroom dance lessons with the North Olympic Dance Consortium will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Darlene and Michael Clemens will be teaching the cha cha at Scandia Hall, 131 W. Fifth St., Port Angeles, on Tuesdays during January.

Beginners class will begin at 7 p.m. and the advanced class at 8 p.m. Fees apply.
