Learn East Coast Swing
A four-week series of beginning dance lessons focusing on East Coast Swing and Night Club Two-Step starts Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St.,
The swing lesson is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and the night club lesson is from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Fees apply. Call Steve or Ann Johnson for details at 457-5950.
Learn photography from local pro
This February, learn how to capture stunning images of nature with renowned local photographer Ross Hamilton. Explore! Nature Photography will be Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave. Hamilton will discuss his favorite places to shoot on the peninsula and share professional tips and tricks for working in the field.
Olympic Theatre Arts to present ‘I Do! I Do!’
Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, will open this season’s main stage musical “I Do! I Do!” on Feb. 5 for a three-week run closing on Feb. 21. Tickets for the musical are $22, with a $2 discount to OTA members. Tickets are $10 for the preview performance on
Feb. 4, with free admission to OTA members.
There also will be a pay what you will performance on Feb. 11. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays.
There will be no performance on Feb. 7, Super Bowl Sunday, but instead a performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18.

Presentation on Lincoln conspirator set
Author Michael Schein speaks on John Surratt’s role in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
Surratt is the Lincoln assassination conspirator who “got away” after a civilian court trial that took place two years after his mother was convicted in a military court and hung for her crime.
