Fudge stand reopens for season

Sequim’s WeDo Fudge drive-thru opened April 5 at 11 Valley Center Place. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Each year a nonprofit benefits from the sales of the peanut butter chocolate fudge. This season all proceeds of the peanut butter chocolate fudge will be donated to KSQM 91.5 FM radio station. Look for the special logo and help sustain this listener-supported community radio station.

Lawrence attends neurology conference

Dr. George Lawrence of Pro Active Chiropractic Clinic in Port Angeles recently attended “Functional Neurology Anatomy and Central Neurological Pathways” in San Diego, Calif. The two-day seminar is part of a two-year series of seminars for health care practitioners who want to better assist patients with complex neurological issues. Some of the key concepts presented included gait, posture, movement, tremor, postural instability, vertigo, memory, motor learning, pathology of pupil movements and cognitive processing as well as a detailed review of neurological anatomy. Film on colon health on tap

Learn about power of probiotics

Washington continues to add jobs

Washington added 10,600 new nonfarm jobs on a preliminary, seasonally adjusted basis from January to February, according to the state’s Employment Security Department (ESD). “While Washington’s unemployment rate continues to hover at 5.8 percent, the state’s labor market continues to move in the right direction,” said Paul Turek, Washington’s state labor economist. The U.S. unemployment rate also held steady at 4.9 percent for February.
