PC women’s socer team adds assistant coach

California native Dana De Vaughn joined the coaching staff of the nationally ranked and perennial Northwest Athletic Conference powerhouse Peninsula College women’s soccer program last week.

De Vaughn leaves another nationally ranked program — San Bernardino Valley College — where she has served as an assistant coach since 2013, helping the Wolverines to three consecutive conference championships. Her coaching resumé also includes Legends FC Riverside, Redlands East Valley High School, the Fullerton Rangers FC, Esperanza High School and Empire Soccer.

De Vaughn played soccer at Cal State Fullerton.

In addition to coaching women’s soccer at Peninsula College, De Vaughn will work in the college’s fitness center.
