Keying Around pianos go to auction

The three pianos painted for Keying Around will go to auction Friday, Aug. 5, at the Sequim Civic Center’s plaza, 152 W. Cedar St., for the First Friday Art Walk.

Pianist Ken Young will play earlier from noon-1 p.m. with silent auction bidding ending at 6:30 p.m.

Artists on the pianos include Larry White and Todd Fischer, Natalie Andrezejeski and the Art Jam collective.

The event also will host the opportunity for pledges for Sequim School District’s Fund A Need — Light the Stage for Drama! ($356.49), Destination Imagination Team ($1,950), large scale laser printer for Sequim Middle School ($5,000), and xylophones for Greywolf students ($8,262.45).
