Nine-year-old Kariann Rose Armstrong shows off a pair of impressive catches at the Carrie Blake Park fishing pond on Memorial Day weekend.
Her first rainbow trout was 7 pounds 4 ounces, and 24.5 inches long. Her second, caught five minutes later, was 6 pounds and 22 inches long.
Dad Robert Armstrong says they were told Kariann’s catch may be a record for the Sequim pond.
