Carpenter wins scholarship

Colleen Carpenter of Sequim was the recipient of The Grand Olympic Chorus of Sweet Adelines International $500 scholarship for 2017. Carpenter, pictured here with Midge Hull from the chorus, will be attending Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. The 2017 Sequim High grad plans to major both in music performance and music therapy. The Grand Olympic Chorus awards scholarships to students in the area who are pursuing degrees in music.
