Crab Fest 5k run set for Oct. 7

The Peninsula College Pirates host the Crab Fest 5k Fun Run, set for an 11 a.m. start on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Port Angeles waterfront.
The registration fee is $30 through Sept. 30, or $35 after; open registration on race day begins at 9:30 a.m.
The course is an out-and-back along the Olympic Discovery Trail, finishing at the Port Angeles City Pier.
Registrants receive a gift bag with a T-shirt (register in advance for best selection of T-shirt size and style; availability may be limited on race day), a $4 discount coupon for the crab dinner, a drink ticket good for one beer/wine/soft drink and a free run at the Crab Derby.
Prizes will be awarded in four separate divisions: under 40 men and women, and over 40 men and women and Under 40/Over 40 Men. Each winner will receive two crab dinners, plus season passes to the men’s/women’s Peninsula College soccer and basketball 2017-2018 seasons.
All proceeds go to the PC women’s basketball team.
