Milestone: Sequim Soroptimists name Sturm, Vander Velde Students of the Month

Soroptimist International of Sequim named their November and December Girls of the Month: Meguire Vander Velde, left, and Payton Sturm.

Both Sequim High School students are active in school government, volunteering and are excellent academicians, Soroptimist representatives say.

Sturm has her eyes set on attending Boise State University while Vander Velde is set on attending Western Washington University.
