A group of volunteers were busy this past weekend adorning Sequim with lights, including displays at the 1st Security Bank park across the Washington Street/Sequim Avenue intersetcion, and the waterfall/pond fixture at Pioneer Memorial Park.

A theme this year, Stout said, is movement. “Everything has movement — something to catch your eye,” she said.

Some additions are in store for 2020 as well as familiar light features: cascading blue lights and snowmen at 1st Security Bank park, and illuminated deer at Centennial Place.

An unofficial tree-lighting — meaning, not a public event — is set for Thursday, Nov. 26, at Centennial Place.

Volunteers will be occasionally testing the tree lights before then.
