SCC to stage Easter drama, ‘Resurrecting Charlie’

A “lighthearted yet meaningful” drama is hitting the stage at Sequim Community Church this weekend.
The church at 950 N. Fifth Ave. will offer “Resurrecting Charlie” at its Easter services set for 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday April 9.
The drama, organizers note, is the story of a young man who is the star of a very popular traveling acting group that performs the Jesus story of Easter. Charlie is successful and popular but really has no idea of the meaning or importance of the story he is acting out night after night.
The drama director is Anna Pederson, whose recent credits include efforts with Ghostlight Productions and Sequim High School.
“Anna has done a fantastic job working with our group drama group,”Kristi Godwin, Worship, Music & Arts Director at Sequim Community Church, said.
“SCC is excited about expanding our drama program and creating artistic outlets for kids and youth in the community,”
