Realtors group shows love to first responders with food, coffee gifts

Representatives with the Sequim Association of Realtors shared their appreciation for local first responders near Valentine’s Day with several goody boxes.

On Feb. 13, Deon Kapetan, Katie Marble, Jennifer Sweeney and Sol Wasankari-Mendoza delivered baked goods, healthy treats and coffee gift cards to the Washington State Patrol, Olympic Ambulance, Clallam County Fire District 3, Sequim Police Department and Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

Sweeney raised $1,600 through local real estate agents and other representatives, and she received donated gift cards from local coffee businesses.

The Sequim Association of Realtors meets at 8:15 a.m. Wednesdays at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave.
