Pickleball courts done

The Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department announced the completion of the pickleball court renovation at Elks Playfield. The upgrade included asphalt repairs on the two center courts and a full resurfacing of all six courts, ensuring a high-quality experience for all pickleball players.

This project was made possible by a $30,000 donation from a private citizen. The city of Port Angeles contributed the remaining funds, for a total project cost of $43,015.50. All renovation work was completed by Rainbow Sweepers, Inc., of Port Angeles.

The newly renovated courts are now open and ready for use.
