Bowling: Five Wolves earn district berths

Sequim will send five bowlers to the district tournament on Feb. 1 following the Olympic League meet in Silverdale on Jan. 24.

The Wolves were led by Victoria Nava with a score of 407 over three games to place 13th, followed by Kimberly Heintz with a 368 (20th). Sequim’s Skylar Krzyworz bowled a 360, Keira Morey a 353, and Cooper Hiatt a 351 to place 24th-26th.

The Olympic League will send four teams and eight individuals to districts in Lakewood for a chance to make the state tournament. As a team, Sequim finished game one in third place and won the first round of bakers.
