Responder Blotter — May 28, 2025
Published 5:30 am Wednesday, May 28, 2025
The weekly blotter includes incidents that occurred in the City of Sequim and in unincorporated Clallam County in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley area.
From May 17-24, Clallam County Fire District 3 reported to 200 incidents. Staff report there were two structure fires over the weekend, with one of them initially dispatched to the wrong address.
Fire District officials recommend locals learn neighboring addresses and nearby street names in case you need to call 911 on someone’s behalf. It may also help to let the 911 dispatcher know if the incident is at a different location than where you are calling from to help improve response time for first responders.
