Port Scandalous Roller Derby team the Scandals’ Olivia Wray, aka “Small Fry,” was bestowed with the MVP Jammer title by the opposing team, Olympia’s South Sound Roller Derby, after a high-adrenaline bout at the Boys and Girls Club of Sequim on Saturday evening. Wray (in the helmet bearing a star) suffered a minor injury or two but kept going.

The first half of Saturday’s competition between the Port Scandalous Roller Derby team and South Sound Roller Derby from Olympia was close with the Scandals ahead for part of the time, but South Sound won with a final score of 161-116. The Scandals next bout will be out of town.
