The monthly Garden Tour Walk-About hosted by Clallam County Master Gardeners will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Woodcock Demonstration Gardens, 2711 Woodcock Road.

Dalias are exploding with vibrant color, thanks in large part to Master Gardener Ed Adams, and will be the major attraction on the tour. Adams will guide guests through the more than 20 themed gardens at the 2.74-acre site where they will see small fruits ready for harvest, water conservation, herbs in culinary and medical beds, and mushrooms.

The vegetable raised beds are supplying food to the local food bank, and the pavilion has been the site of educational “Digging Deeper” free classes.

For the walk-about, attendees can meet up with Adams in the covered pavilion. They will be given a walking tour guide and the Clallam County Master Gardeners’ 2025 event schedule.

After the tour, attendees are free to stroll around the gardens, enjoy a picnic lunch, and speak with Master Gardeners.
