A free Sequim Community Thanksgiving Dinner returns this holiday from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St.
There will be turkey and “all the fixin’s” available with Buck Ellard playing music from 1-3 p.m.
Organizers said they’ll be gathered in gratitude and community and in loving memory of their friend Jim McCauley, a longtime community member and volunteer.
In honor of McCauley, they’ll be accepting winter clothing, such as coats, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, sweaters and new socks.
Drop-off will continue through the winter at VFW 4760, 169 E. Washington St.; the Sequim Boys & Girls Club; Sequim Shell Station, 194 W. Washington St.; and Sequim Shell/ Mobil Taylor Cutoff Station, 33 Taylor Cutoff Road.
The dinner is sponsored by Stephen and Kim Rosales, Sequim Sunrise Rotary Club, Sequim VFW 4760, Sun Taxi and Delivery, Brokers Group Real Estate Sequim, Sequim Food Bank, and Sequim Walmart.
