Photo courtesy Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce/ KSQM 91.5 FM Radio won the honor of chamber Member of the Month for October for the station’s service to the community. The award was presented in the radio station’s Community Room, which was a packed with volunteers, staff, chamber board members and allies.

The museum greets more than 10,000 visitors every year, from cruise ship passengers on an excursion from Port Angeles to children’s groups, tourists and local history buffs. The museum maintains a display of the oldest known human-hunted mastodon fossil in North or South America, and its docents share the history of the Dungeness with all visitors.
