The board of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced three new board members for 2026: Robin Bookter of First Fed, Jaycie Wakefield of United Way, and Sherryl Chandley-Brown of SCB Health Coaching.
Bookter and Wakefield began three-year terms this month. They will be installed at the membership luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Chandley-Brown, a new resident of Sequim who joined the chamber last year, has been added as a non-voting courtesy board member.
Bookter, a banker and branch manager with First Fed, has 10 years of experience as an event director and board member for the Sequim Irrigation Festival.
Wakefield, who serves as development director for United Way of Clallam County and has 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, was a courtesy board member throughout 2025.
Reappointed for a second term on the board are past president Colleen Robinson, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County, and Eric Thomson of Tedesco’s Italian Fresh.
During the December Board Meeting, the chamber’s executive team was selected for 2026 as well. They are Board President Mitch Koonz of Clallam EDC, President Elect Dennise Kettel of 7 Cedars, Treasurer Heather Nelson of OMC, Membership Chair Darrin Liggins of Liggins Landscaping, and Past President Robinson.
Elections are held every November for the chamber board, and there are as many as four seats per year to be filled. There are also courtesy board member positions available.
