Cherie Melton happily accepts a check for one-half of the $1,340 raised by the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce through its annual 50-50 raffle. Throughout the year, members can purchase raffle tickets online or at chamber events for the December drawing. Half the money goes to the chamber’s Howard Wood Scholarship. Melton is presented the check by chamber Membership Coordinator Kendall Melton - her daughter.
