The Port Angeles BMX track sees racing Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13-14, with a closing potluck family gathering Saturday; food follows after racing. 

All are invited, including new racing families. 

On Sunday, Oct. 14, Port Angeles BMX track officials are hosting a food drive for the Port Angeles Food Bank. Prizes for the top donators will be awarded. Also scheduled are Tuesday Ten Series prizes.

Sign up from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday and noon-1 p.m. on Sunday.

Racing may continue two more Sundays (Oct. 21 and 28) if weather permits.  Practice its still on Thursdays, with the time shifting to 4-6:30 p.m.

BMX, track officials note, is a yearlong sport, as Peninsula Indoor BMX in Port Orchard opens the first weekend of November.
