Time to rest those legs – until spring’s track season.

Sequim’s cross country state qualifying duo of Audrey Lichten and Alex Jenkins capped their cross country careers at the class 2A state meet in Pasco on Saturday, Nov. 6.

Lichten finished 21st overall, completing the 5,000-meter course in 19 minutes and 32 seconds. It was her fourth state appearance in as many seasons.

Jenkins finished 83rd overall with a 17:13 finish. It was his third state appearance.

Port Angeles’ girls finished 14th as a team, led by Alison Maxwell, who placed 13th in the individual standings.

Olympic League champ Marina Roberts placed second overall.

Sehome swept both boys and girls team 2A titles.

Port Townsend’s Habtamu Rubio was third in the 1A race while teammate Bereket Piatt was fifth.
