Sequim High School seniors took on their teachers at the Seniors-vs.-Staff basketball game at the Rick Kaps Gymnasium on Feb. 25.

The students prevailed 173-148 — albeit with the significant help of donations from the crowd; funds raised go to student projects.

After leading 153-134 after four “donation-enhanced” quarters, the students out-scored staffers 20-14 in the extra frame. Jackson Oliver had a team-high five points — including a dunk — while English instructor Jon Eekhoff had eight points in the period to lead the staff.
